Deathclaw sactuary is a location in Fallout 3 that can be found between Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel and Broadcast Tower KB5. The sanctuary is full of Deathclaws, and is one of the most dangerous locations in the game.
The sanctuary is a dark cave maze with one blood pool and multiple body piles, torn apart people, animal bones and skeletons. Its inhabitants, the deathclaws, make this cave one of the most dangerous locations in all of the Capital Wasteland. It functions both as a nest and a storage place for the creatures.
After completing the quest "The Waters of Life", it seems that some Enclave soldiers entered the cave to explore. They spawn alive unless the player has cleared the sanctuary before. A Vengeance (a Gatling laser) and a Jack (a variant of the Ripper) can be found here after that quest is completed. An Enclave camp will also appear on a nearby cliff with a mind-controlled deathclaw.
Interestingly, the Endurance Bobblehead is located deep within the cave. This may have been made on purpose by the developers, taking into account that deathclaws are one of the most dangerous and powerful creatures in the game, and the fact that the in order to survive, an under-equipped player would need to have incredible endurance to outrun a deathclaw.
